I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be empty, both to abound and to abase. - Philippians 4:12
(Translation: Good, Bad, or Ugly.. I win.. because I am not phased.. There's no reason to be shaken, when there is an understanding of abasing and abounding.. Ebb and Flow)
One of my favorite scriptures, it's actually one line up from one of the more popular scriptures: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me".
I'm nowhere near a contender in the argument of religion, but spirituality, yes!
In all isolation, that concept speaks to me. As an entrepreneur, it is vital that one can abase and abound as their company grows!
Walking the life of an entrepreneur, you will carry the burdens that are unseen to the employees of a standard job. You will carry quotas, production, and client satisfaction in a very intimate way.
You will also get well acquainted with the "Ebb & Flow" of things. One month you may make $7,000 and three months down the line, you may make $1,000. Money management is vital.
Money management probably beats out all priorities when running a business. Next week's blog will discuss budgeting in great detail.
It is a focal point of our movement to empower others, especially women. We invite you back this same time next week to see what topic we'll be highlighting for the week!
